Since 1872, the Rousset family over 5 generations, from father to son, wine growers have perpetuated their passion for the family vineyard Domaine de Château Vieux; in an environmentally friendly approach.
Soil work is carried out mechanically (tractor) or manually (pickaxe).
No chemical weedkillers or insecticides are used in our vines.
The vinification is natural. The indigenous yeasts (from the grape) will work and give the most natural wine possible. No baking powder is added to the vinification. The doses of sulfites (preservative) are as low as possible.
An estate on the hillsides of Triors, a sandy soil, allowing the vines to flourish in all serenity.
